Getting an undergraduate degree in Canada has become very common place for many students in Canada. Enrollment in university alone has been steadily climbing from about 20% in the 1990’s to 25% today. In one study of the top 17 countries with purported high enrollment rates, Canada ranked 5th overall with on Denmark, Netherlands, USA, and Norway ahead in the ranking. The causal factors for the high opt-in rate which I described in other articles is one of the reasons why grad schools in Canada remain a popular choice among students.
Ontario Graduate Studies
In particular, Ontario, with the largest student population of any other province or territory, has some very competitive and popular graduate school programs. In fact, Ontario graduation programs are THE most popular in Canada with some notable exceptions. The golden horseshoe region of southwestern Ontario is fertile ground for Ontario graduate Studies.
Just like the rest of Canada, most (but not all) Canadian universities offer graduate school studies. There are also a few private institutions that confer graduate degrees.
These Ontario universities all have Graduation programs (ie. Masters, Masters/Doctoral). I’ve provided a URL link directly to their graduate studies program:

In order to apply to graduate school for whatever chosen field of study you desire, in most cases, you must have the proper prerequisites including a full Bachelor (Honours or Four-year) degree and/or other specific requirements of the program. If you’re looking at teaching as a profession, a post-graduate degree will help you to gain employment at the post-secondary, private, and college level institutions.
Some universities are specialized in certain fields. So while most of these universities offer MBA programs of Law School degree, certain schools are ranked or placed better than others in terms of the quality of education, employment opportunities and other factors. Afterall, we rank just about everything in life from healthiest fruits, to best cars. The same is true of ontario universities graduate programs as well.
